Professional Career
Obi Emegano is an eight-year professional basketball player and Tokyo 2020 Olympian, currently competing in the ACB Spain, considered one of the top basketball leagues globally outside of the NBA. His journey began in 2016 with Casale Monferatto, Italy, leading him to play in premier leagues across France, Italy, and Spain.
In 2022, Obi assumed the captaincy of Fuenlabrada in Spain, finishing as a top-three scorer in the league with an average of 15 points per game. A graduate of Oral Roberts University with a degree in Psychology, Obi's collegiate career showcased his talent and leadership.
Collegiate
At Oral Roberts, he made a significant impact, starting and playing in 29 games as a senior. Named preseason Summit League Player of the Year, Obi left his mark in the university's history books, ranking top ten in several categories. 6th in ORU history in free throws made in a single season (205). 6th in ORU history in free throws attempted in a season (260). 7th in ORU history in season free throw percentage (.85). As well as Leading the Summit League with over 23 points per game and ranking 7th nationally in scoring, Obi demonstrated consistency with 35 consecutive double-digit scoring games and scoring 20+ points in 21 games- 11 of the final 12, including a career-high 38 points at IPFW.
He shot 43% (210-484) for the season and 38 % (51-134) from the 3- point range, and made more free throws (198) than anyone else on the team attempted. In addition to his prolific scoring he averaged 5 rebounds per game, second best on his team.

Highschool
In high school, he was a standout player at Edmond Memorial, earning Oklahoma Player of the Year honors and helping secure the program's first state championship title in 2011.
